A-Cross
A new 4 apartment complex offering interim housing to citizens of Ennis who are homeless due to a crisis situation. Further, to provide and assist in locating services and counseling that benefit individuals as they move toward independence. As part of their services, in extreme emergencies, they help with motel stays when a night or two will make the difference in the general welfare of the family, especially when there are children involved. In 2017 two families were helped. A family of 4 suffered the loss of their home during a fire. A-Cross was allowed to pay for hotel/motel lodging for 3 days until the family could move into one of our 4 apartment complexes. In addition funds contributed by Greater Ennis United Way allowed us to assist a family of 4 after the loss of their home due to foreclosure. Learn More -->
